Marjorie Davis passed away peacefully on February 7, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born September 27, 1918 in Windsor, VT and graduated from Windsor High School in the Class of 1935. Following high school, she attended North Hampton Jr. College in MA. She later accepted a War Department Appointment in Washington, D.C. where she met her husband Bill. They married in 1945 and moved to Marj's hometown where they had four daughters and one son. The family moved to Santa Barbara in 1959 where Bill was offered a job at Security Pacific Bank.

Marj worked at UCSB for many years before becoming a data review technician at Social Security in Santa Barbara until her retirement.

Marjorie is survived by Jayne (Sid) of Ojai, CA; Debbie (Bob) of Carlsbad, CA; Lyndy (Phil) of Rock Springs, WY; and Jeanette (Gene) of Camas, WA. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband William M. Davis and her son William M. Davis, Jr.

Marj volunteered at the Heart Association for 5 years and also volunteered at St. Francis Hospital for 15 years. She helped with the senior program at St. Raphael's Catholic Church where she was a member. She travelled extensively and a couple of her favorite places were the Greek Islands, New Zealand and Australia. She also enjoyed concerts and plays.

Rosary at Welch-Ryce-Haider Goleta Chapel, 450 Ward Dr., on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at 7pm.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Raphael's Catholic Church at 5444 Hollister Ave., on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., followed by Interment at Calvary Cemetery located at 199 N. Hope Ave. in Santa Barbara.
