Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

Our beloved Raymond "Casey" Casanova was born 1925 in East Los Angeles, Calif. He attended elementary and high school there before enlisting in the Army the year of 1942 during World War 2. Wanting to enlist with his school friends he was turned away for being too underweight. Not to be discouraged he returned after gaining the required weight to serve. He was also wounded in the war. After being discharged in 1946, he went to work at the restaurant Sovang Inn. There he met and married his wife Helen Gonzalez. They moved to Pico Rivera Calif. He worked for Ringsby Truck lines for 34 years never missing a days work. He was a hard working man,a loving and dedicated husband to his wife and a loving father to his two children Lola and David. Casey always had a cigar in his mouth and a great sense of humor, his favorite was calling all his nieces and nephews "Charlie" It was easier than remembering everyone's names! His favorite past times in his younger years were fishing, hunting and serving up his favorite dish of BBQd chicken. Every sentence he said would end up with yea ok whatever, because nothing ever bothered him, he was an easy going kind of guy and a friend to everybody. He passed peacefully at home with his family on Mar 2nd 2014.
