Rafael "Ralph" Perez 87, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2014 after a long illness with his family by his side. He was born in Santa Barbara, CA on October 23, 1926 to Jesus and Sixta Perez. He was known to many as "Prince". He was a world war 11 Veteran and proudly served his country in the united states Army. He was known for his love of dancing from swing era music to corridos. He also enjoyed visiting casinos especially the Tropicana in Las Vegas. He was a union representative for Fresh Fruit and Vegetables and worked for local 78B for more than 35 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Sixta Perez his first wife Alice Torres and son Raymond. His sisters Frances Gutierrez, Irene "Clara" Maria, Antonia "Toni" Leon, Celia "Charlie" Rodriguez and brothers Salvador, Albert and Manuel Perez. He is survived by daughters Irene, Christina, Ruth, Roxanne and Debra . His step children Mary Alice, Rachel, Art and Jimmy. Sisters Jennie (Luis) Gomez, Mary "Mickey" (Ernesto) Moreno and brothers Joseph Jose and Paul Perez. He leaves behind his wife Aurora of 43 years from Imperial, Ca. Numerous Grandchildren, Great grand children and great, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Services were held on April 8 th at Hemsbrothers Mortuary at El Centro, Ca. and a mass was held on April 9 at St. Anthonys Church in Imperial CA. A burial immediately followed at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA.

Go in peace with the Llord you will be forever missed, loved and remembered.
