Carol Pertsulakes, born on June 20, 1947, recently passed away from complications of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. She embodied the idea of living her life to the fullest and was a talented artist in many different mediums, including: pottery, tile painting, oils, and gold and silver jewelry making. Having studied art at San Miguel de Ayende, Mexico, she was commissioned to do artwork in churches, public buildings, and many private homes. Carol was also a director in the family owned business with offices in Montebello, CA and Tulsa, OK.
Her love of life included sailing to the Channel Islands as well as her annual trip to Catalina with the cruising fleet of the Santa Barbara Yacht Club of which she was a life member. Carol will always be loved and remembered by her husband, Bill, her two sons, Richard and Tommy, her brother Brian, her service dog, Kush, her relatives, and many friends. Carol was the heartbeat of her home and her spirit and wonderful laughter will be forever be in our memory.
Carol's friends are invited to her celebration of life at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club on Monday, August 19th at 3:00pm at 130 Harbor Way, by the Breakwater, in Santa Barbara.
