Linda went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2013 in Santa Barbara after battling breast cancer for two years. She was born in Ventura on October 7, 1955 to Jim and Betty (Palmer) Goggia. In June of 1962 the family moved to Montecito and Linda attended Mt. Carmel grade school and Bishop High, graduating in 1973. She also attended SB City College, UC Santa Barbara and UC Riverside.

In her twenties she worked at Cal State Long Beach. She returned to Santa Barbara in 1984 and lived in Santa Barbara and Carpinteria. She was Admin. Assistant at Braille Institute for ten years and Friendship Center in Montecito for ten years. She and Robert Hasley were married at Lake Tahoe April 16, 1988.

Robert and Linda had many adventures and both loved and cared for each other. She enjoyed watching Robert give Clown Shows and perform as Charlie Chaplin in parades. They also worked at the Renaissance Fair in Agoura, CA. Linda loved animals and in her childhood she had many which included ducks, cats, a dog, and ponies.

Linda had an upbeat personality and even with her medical challenges she was positive and encouraging others, never complaining. Everyone will remember her beautiful smile! Many have also commented she gave the very best hugs ever! She had strong faith in Jesus Christ and loved worshiping at Santa Barbara Faith Center. Knowing she is now with Jesus comforts us.

Linda is survived by her husband Robert Hasley of Carpinteria, parents Jimmy and Betty Goggia, brothers Steve (Adele) all of Santa Barbara. Gary (Connie) Goggia of Kailua, HI, nephew Gio Goggia, niece Siena Goggia of Santa Barbara and niece Charisse Perez and grand nephew Aedan Perez of Kailua, HI. and several aunts and uncles, cousins and mother-in-law Norma Hasley of Placerville, CA and several of Roberts?s brothers and sisters.
