Morgan, Catherine H.
Catherine "Kay" (Hossan) Morgan, 96, wife of the late E. LeRoy Morgan, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Bethel Health Care.
Catherine was born in Danbury, March 20, 1918, a daughter of the late Albert and Ellen (Barrett) Hossan. Before her move to Bethel Health Care in 2008, she had lived in Danbury all of her life. She was a graduate of Danbury High School Class of 1935B. She had been a lifelong parishioner of St. Peter Church in Danbury.
Catherine met her beloved Roy at the John W. Leahy Company, where they were both employed. They were married May 30, 1941 and celebrated over 69 years of marriage. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who always reached out to help her family and friends, giving comfort and love. She will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Elaine and Arthur Leach of Danbury, Janet and Joseph O'Connor of Brookfield. Three grandsons: Paul Kocot and his wife, Dawn, of New Fairfield, Jordan Leach of New Preston and Wayne Kocot and his wife, Chantal, of Danbury. Her sister-in-law: Jeanette Hossan of Brookfield. Also surviving are five step grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, eight step great-grandchildren, three step great-great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.
Catherine was predeceased by her brother, Albert Hossan, her grandson, Karl Leach and one niece.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 4pm - 6pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western CT, 39 Old Ridgebury Road, Danbury, CT 06810.
