Dionisio, Teresa - New Fairfield
Dionisio, Teresa A. Teresa Ann Dionisio passed away at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY as a result of prolonged cardiac and oncological illness on June 21st. Teresa was 56 years old. Born and raised in Gravesend, Brooklyn, she was a child of Liz and Charlie Principato. She had five siblings: Jenine, Larry, Charlie, Joey, and Lisa. In youth, she was involved with the Our Lady of Grace Church and Abraham Lincoln High School communities. In 1988, Teresa married William Nicholas Dionisio. She then moved to Astoria, Queens, NY where her three children were born: Nicole Teresa Dionisio, William Nicholas Dionisio Jr, and Christopher Michael Dionisio. In 1996, Teresa and William moved full time to the Candlewood Isle community of New Fairfield, CT. The main body of Teresa's life work was devoted towards the titles of homemaker, wife, and mother. She built a beautiful home, a loving marriage, and three children, whom are now young-adults, with an enhanced skill-set of respect, empathy, compassion, and love. Throughout her life Teresa had three dogs that had a great big piece of her heart. A mix-breed named Christie, a Golden Retriever named Teddy, and a German shepherd, named Bella. Teresa developed sincere, life-long friendships throughout her professional experiences, at the American Stock Exchange, Liberty Travel, Atomic Oil Company, and Pier 1 Imports. Coworkers, friends, and family all recognized the goodness, humor, and sincerity that Teresa embodied in every aspect of her character. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, New Fairfield. Friends will be received from 1pm-7pm on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. Flowers may be sent to Green Funeral Home at 57 Main Street, Danbury CT, 06810.
