Audrey (de Bottari) Burger passed away peacefully on December 24, 2013 at Bethel Health Care Center. She was born May 20, 1927, the only child of Achille de Bottari and Florence (Schmidt) de Bottari. She attended Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, New York, graduating in 1945. She was a Nursing student at Yonkers General Hospital during World War 2. In 1947 on her birthday, she married her high school sweetheart, James Burger, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was an avid reader, and a great conversationalist. A devoted wife, mother, and adoring grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, James Burger and his wife Lucy, her daughter, Valerie Juleson and her husband Cliff, her daughter Virginia Scott, her daughter Patricia Engel and her husband Tom, her grandchildren, Will Scott, Mary (Juleson) Harrington and her husband Rich, Douglas Finney-Carter and his fiancée Derrick Person, Steven Finney and his wife Amy, great-grandchildren Elizabeth Herrington, Sara Herrington, Alissa Scott, and Christian Scott, and great-great-granddaughter, Jaylenn. Calling hours will be from 6-8 PM Friday, December 27, 2013 at Bouton Funeral Home located at 31 West Church Street, Wilton, CT 06897. Services will be held at 9 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 1 Church Street, Wilton, CT 06897 with burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Putnam Valley, NY. Donations may be made in her memory to the Ridgefield Fire Department.
