BADOUD, BENJAMIN C.
Benjamin Charles Badoud of Brookfield CT died peacefully on Saturday, June 21 surrounded by his loving wife Pam, family and friends. Ben was born in Brunswick, Maine to Morris and Faith Mariano Badoud on July 13, 1974. Ben attended Brookfield High School and graduated in 1992. He attended college at Eastern College in St. Davids PA.
Ben was an avid sports fan and star athlete at Brookfield High and Eastern College; excelling at baseball and golf. He proudly wore the number 21 when playing for the Danbury Westerners during their inaugural season; and enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of sports. Ben began his career at Mariano Brothers in Bethel CT, where he worked closely at the side of his Grandfather, Peter Mariano; and gained great joy spending his days with him. His Grandfather taught him the value of hard work, the love of family and the importance of a strong faith. Ben recently realized his dream of starting his own company, Fairfield Fine Arts, where he gained the trust and confidence of many nationally respected artists; as he cared for, stored and transported their priceless pieces of art.
The greatest joy of Ben's life was spending time with his cherished friends and family; especially his wife, Pam; and son, Digger Morris Badoud. Ben's large and loving group of friends were bravely and constantly at his side during his battle with cancer. He loved playing golf, watching the Yankees and enjoying life. Ben will always be remembered for his easy smile, gracious manner, quick dry wit and incredible sense of humor.
Ben is survived by his loving wife, Pam DiNardo Badoud; son, Digger Morris Badoud; of Brookfield CT; parents, Morris Woodrow and Faith Mariano Badoud of Brookfield CT; siblings, Andrew Badoud of Berkley CA; Scott and Emily (Badoud) Giordano of Stamford CT; Sister-in-law Kim Keller of Kensington CA; loving nieces and nephews: Henry, Noelle, Katherine, Charlie, Jack and Olive; in-laws Paul and Nina DiNardo, Tony DiNardo and Annemarie DiNardo of Danbury CT; grandparents: Mary Mariano of Brookfield CT, Armand and Shirley Giglio of Brewster NY and Anthony L. DiNardo of Brewster NY; in addition to many loving and adored cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. He is pre-deceased by his brother, John Badoud and grandparents Charles and Violet Badoud, Peter Mariano and Anne DiNardo.
