John Joseph (Jack) Connors passed away on October 19, 2012 in Hoboken, New Jersey after a short battle with a gastrointestinal disease. He was residing in Weehawken, NJ at the time of his death. Jack was born in Danbury on September 7, 1976 and grew up in New Fairfield. He graduated from New Fairfield High School where he excelled in sports and was named the Rebel Booster Club Athlete of the Year his senior year. He then moved on to graduate from Sacred Heart University. Along with his love of all sports, he was an ardent Yankess fan. He enjoyed spending time on Candlewood Lake with his friends and family and playing with his nieces and nephews. Jack will always be remembered as a kind, gentle soul with a great sense of humor who was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Jack is survived by his parents Skip and Eileen Connors of New Fairfield; His brother Tom , wife Jenna, niece Molly and nephew Brendan of Sandy Hook, CT; his brother Bill, wife Danyelle and nieces Eilee and Maureen of New Fairfield, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A viewing and calling hours will take place on Sunday Oct. 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hull Funeral Services, 60 Division Street, Danbury, CT. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, Oct. 22 at 12 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT.
