Margaret McLaughlin

Margaret (Peggy) McLaughlin, born December 14, 1921 at Danbury Hospital, the daughter of the late Margaret Gildea and Leo K. McLaughlin, died January 3, 2014. Miss McLaughlin was educated in New York City schools graduating from Parkard Commercial College (now part of New York University) in 1939. She worked for the former New York Central Railroad (now Metro North) for 40 years, retiring as a supervisor, office manager in the Terminal Superintendant's Office Grand Central Terminal. She is survived by her cousins, Mrs. James (Helen) Fiddner, Mary Wittland and Frances O'Neill, as well as many wonderful friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, Danbury, on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
