Aleszka, MaryJane (Beck, Danise)
MaryJane (Beck, Danise) Aleszka, born on March 17, 1935, passed away at Meridian Medical Center on Tuesday, December 18th surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren after fighting a long and spirited battle of chronic lung disease.
MaryJane (Beck, Danise) Aleszka was one of eleven children born to the late Mary Elizabeth(McNulty) Beck and William Beck. MaryJane was a native Danburian and is survived by 6 sisters and 2 brothers, Peggy Hunt of AZ, Patsy Novella of FL, Jeanie Trudeau of Torrington, Nancy Sears of Seymour, Richard Beck of Groton, Barbara Beck of Danbury, Robert Beck of OH and Doreen Wells of Danbury. She will now join her 2 sisters in heaven, Florence Alves and Sharon Russo along with the rest of her family members.

MaryJane worked at Danbury Hospital for 18 years in the Maternity Department from 1977 to 1995. She whole heartedly loved her position and caring for the new born babies.
Even though MaryJane was oxygen dependant she never lost her zest and enthusiasm for life. She will be remembered for her "decked out outfits" with jewelry to match and zany earrings. MaryJane had a passion for dancing and won first place in a "Jitter Bug Contest" held in the early 1950's. She loved reading, old classic movies, caring for her family and cooking. All will miss the Sunday dinner gatherings and stories told around the dining room table.
Everyone of MaryJane's children was enormously precious to her. Each will carry a part of their mother's heart and soul with them throughout the days of their lives.
MaryJane was previously married to Mr. Fred Danise (formerly of Danbury) for 17 years and they had five children together, Kathleen Danise of Waterbury, Jim Danise of Port St. Lucie, FL, Laura Danise DeMartino and her husband, Carmen DeMartino of Patterson, NY, Fernanda Danise Adams and her husband David Adams of Cortland, NY, Rebecca Danise Lollie and her husband Francis Lollie of Brookfield.
MaryJane and Edmond Aleszka were married in 1970 and remained married for 35 years until Edmonds death in 2005. She also leaves behind her only child with Edmond; Elizabeth Belle Aleszka of Danbury.
In addition, MaryJane leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her treasured grandchildren are, Katelyn Danise, Jessica Flores-Adams, Fred Danise, Carmen DeMartino, Sarah Lemov, David Adams, Stephen DeMartino, James Danise, Amy Adams, Amanda Lollie, Molly Adams, Emily Adams, Adam Lollie, Abigail Adams and Andrew Lollie. The little great grandchildren are Pedro, Evan, Mary Elizabeth, June, Olivia Lee and Theo.
Because of MaryJanes love and passion for her family, she planned a family reunion for the past 25 years where the entire family spent 2 weeks in Narragansett RI in what she considered her second home. All will remember the fantastic fun filled 2 weeks together. Many wonderful and loving memories where created in Danbury and Narragansett together. Everyone has a story to tell about their beloved mother and grandmother.
MaryJane's children would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Gordon and his staff for the caring and professional medical service they provided over the past 30 years.
