I was so sorry to hear of the loss of the love of your life. Remembering your great love story today and always.

I had the privelege of being Jay's son-in-law (and in-training) for almost 30 years. He was as we say, an original. Unique and his own person in so many ways. I can remember many nights after dinner while most of us were enjoying coffee and the evening winding down, he would head out to the garage to work on one of the cars; not only because it needed to be done and he enjoyed it, but, you know, those mechanics... And then when that was done, he would come in and start paying bills while watching TV, inevitably falling asleep on the floor with one of the cats on his chest. He was one of the most disciplined and hard-working people I ever met. I will always appreciate the warm and loving welcome I received from he and Joy over the years as we all grew up, and older, together. I will miss you Jay. Love, John

I did not Jay well, but we both went to Stevens, worked on Hubble and retired from HDOS. He was a special person and always had a smile not matter the circumstances. I only wish I had known he were living here in Grantham (Eastman?).

I only wish I could have spend more time with Jay. But the little time I did spend with him was very special. What a great man to have known.
