Kevin DePietro Obituary

Kevin B. DePietro Kevin B. DePietro, age 45 of Ridgefield, passed peacefully on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his home. Kevin was born in Bridgeport, July 9, 1964, a son of Mary (Hoyt) DePietro of Ridgefield and the late John DePietro. He attended Ridgefield schools and was a graduate of Ridgefield High School. He loved NASCAR racing and was an avid NY Yankee fan. Kevin was a courierwith Nordex of Brookfield and a member of St. Mary's Church, Ridgefield. He is survived by his beloved mother, Mary DePietro; his sister, Patricia Polverari and her husband, Michael; nephew, Matthew Polverari and his wife, Kelly. He is also survived by cousins, Daniel Platt, Chris, Tim, Mark and Pete Tillinghast. Kevin was also blessed to have a large and loving extended family, Pat Spotlaw, Shelley Ponte, Tracy Wood and all their families. He also enjoyed the companionship of his many faithful friends. He will be missed by all. A Mass of ChristianBurial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 2, 2010 in St. Mary's Church, Ridgefield at 10:15 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield. The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions to the Ridgefield Fire Dept. Ambulance Fund, 6 Catoonah St., Ridgefield, CT 06877 would be appreciated.

Kevin was like an older brother to me, the one i never had. He was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back and could always make you laugh. I never thought he would be needed in heaven so early, i would give anything to see his face or hear his voice once more. My heartfelt condolences go out to all his family and friends. I love and miss you man!

When i was growing up Kevin was always there for you,telling you, you can do it just think about it some,and stuff like ,you'll do better next time and he really meant it. I will miss Kevin very much but i know he is with the Lord now.
