Clarice McKay Obituary

Clarice F. McKay, age 87, beloved wife of Curtis W. McKay of Newtown died Friday September 24, 2010 in Danbury Hospital. She was born in Roses Point, NY on August 6, 1923 a daughter of the late Joseph O. and Alexina (Bois) Soucy. Mrs. McKay was a resident of Newtown for 57years and was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and was a member of the Newtown Woman's Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts and reading. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Curtis W. McKay, Jr. of Sherman; and by a daughter, Karen Randolph of New Milford; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church Friday October 1, 2010 at 10:30am. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home 58 Main St. Newtown Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima Memorial Fund, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown, CT 06470.
