Mary R. Lepis

Mary R. Lepis, 92, passed away peacefully at The Cascades Assisted Living Residence in Bethel, on Monday, November 29, 2010. She was the widow of her beloved husband Louis J. Lepis. Mary was born in Schenectady, NY in 1918, a daughter of the late Dominick and Emma Pace. She is survived by her sisters: Mona Celentano of Queens, NYC, NY, Gloria Bellofatto of Bethel. Mary graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Schenectady, NY and pursued a career as a Hair Dresser. On behalf of Mary, heartfelt thanks are extended to the Cascades staff and Regional Hospice who gave Mary loving care, prayers and affection. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church , Rte 302, Bethel, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rte 53, Bethel. A luncheon will be held at Plain Jane's Restaurant, 208 Greenwood Ave., Bethel following the committal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of your choice.
