Cook, David F.
David F. Cook, 67, of Danbury, husband of 46 years to June (Peterson) Cook died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, January 31st. He was born May 9, 1945 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Edwin I. and Marion (Fyfe) Cook. He was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1963. David earned his Bachelor's Degree at WSCU, and did graduate work at SCSU.
David was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the United States Army.
He was a teacher of the 5th and 6th grade in the Region 15 School District for many years.
He enjoyed motorcycles and photography.
In addition to his wife, June, David will be missed by his sister, Judy Rowan and her husband Harry of Loudon, TN; his brother-in-law Arthur Peterson and his wife Mary of Kennett Square, PA; as well as a number of cousins.
Friends and family may gather at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury on Saturday, February 9th from 1 to 3 PM. There will be a brief service at approximately 3 PM.
