James Buonaiuto Obituary

Buonaiuto, James T.
James Thomas Buonaiuto, 69, resident of Kings Mountain, NC formerly of Newtown, CT died November 17, 2013 at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia NC after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Milford, CT on September 25, 1944, a son of the late Anthony and Florence Minikel Buonaiuto. He graduated from Newtown High School. He served his country in the United States Navy.
A resident of Kings Mountain for the past 18 years, Mr. Buonaiuto was a retired courier for Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia NC. He loved golfing, carpentry, helping his friends, collecting model cars and most of all his family. He was a wonderful human being, hard worker and was well liked by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife Patricia McTiernan Buonaiuto, of Kings Mountain; two daughters, Sandra Rebo and husband Joseph of Danbury and Cassandra Buonaiuto of Kings Mountain; three brothers, Frank and wife Joyce of New Milford, Valentine and wife Judith of Carlsbad, CA and John and wife Janet of Washington, CT; 3 sisters, Florence Lyman of Ridgefield, Eileen Michael and husband Dennis of Bonita Springs, FL, and Denise Buonaiuto and husband Manuel Derieux of New Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service to honor and celebrate his life at Resurrection Cemetery, S. Main St, Newtown, CT on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 11:00am.
