Dear Richard, Stephen and Mrs. Weiss,
Our thoughts are with you all during this very difficult time. I have so many wonderful memories of Bob that I will cherish. He made me feel like the luckiest kid in the world letting me sit in the jump seat of a DC-9, and flying me to Martha's Vineyard for the summer. Every kid has a dream of learning to fish and I am honored to have learned that from you! Thank you for making the kid next door feel so special. Rest in peace.

I flew with Bob several times on the 727 in Chicago and always enjoyed flying with him. He was a good guy and a good pilot. I am sorry to hear of his death. You have my sympathy.

Success! I recall flying with Bob in Chicago and he talked of retiring early and devoting his efforts to charter boating. He enjoyed his family, fulfilled his desire to fly, and then sailed as captain of his charter boat. I call that a successful life. It was good to have known you Bob.
