Albert Adlers Obituary

A memorial service for Mr. Albert Adlers, age 88, of Opelika, Alabama, will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Marty McGeough officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m, Monday, September 13, 2010 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Mr. Adlers was born January 9, 1922 in Riga, Latvia. He died Friday, September 10, 2010 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Adlers was a graduate of Connecticut State University. Most of his life was lived in Opelika. He retired from Ampex after years of service as a Chemical Engineer for the company. Survivors include his wife, Helena Burns Adlers; his three daughters, Karen (Anthony) Casacalenda, Deborah Ann Pyron, Alberta Boyd; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Casacalenda, Mary Casacalenda, Jonathon Pyron, Andrew Pyron, Daniel Pyron and Michael Pyron. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial be directed to The American Heart Association. Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and Crematory of Opelika, Alabama directing. www.jeffcoattrant.com.

I am so sorry for your dad's passing. Just know that each of you are in my prayers and thoughts. Hold all of your memories close to your heart and remember the smiles, the times he played with Gizmo and Winston and the fun they both brought him. My love goes out to all of you. I love you Alberta!
