Baldelli, Albert J.
Albert John Baldelli, a life-long resident of Danbury died on June 17th in Hampstead, NC. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 23, 1923, son of the late Furino and Maria (Androlini) Baldelli. Albert is survived by his three daughters, Ellamae Baldelli of New Milford; Christine Baldelli of Danbury; and Alberta Riccardi and her husband, Ivo of Danbury; his grandson, Michael Fioccola and his wife Colleen of New Milford; his companion, Gayle Donley of Hampstead, NC; his sisters, Flo Lanigan and Antoinette Braun and a brother, Saturnio and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Mario, Silvio, Nino and Ralph.
Albert was a Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army, 501st Military Police Battalion. He worked as a HVAC technician for Hoffman Fuel and the B.J. Dolan Company before retiring to Hampstead, NC.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 21st, 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph's Church, 8 Robinson Avenue, Danbury, CT. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private.
