Alberto Rodriguez Obituary

Alberto Nieto Rodriguez, beloved husband of Leticia Rocha Mier, died on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Danbury Hospital. My husband, was born in Mexico City on January 14th 1970. Alberto gave us his love to all of us who had the privilege to share the journey of life with him. He was a loving husband, a giving father with Pedro our son, and deeply involved in Pedro's upbringing and education, and also a committed member of the positive development our community. During Alberto's time with us, he shared his passion of knowledge to serve our society, his fascination for the miracle of life, and his commitment for the long term sustainability to preserve our nature and environment. Alberto devoted himself to be of value to others and society, and he lived among many other values, the value of compassion for others. He has always been a friend, a teacher, and companion for all of us. Alberto will be always with us. Please join us in the religious and memorial service for his departure to our eternal home in heaven with our Lord. At Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 29 Golden Hill Road Danbury, CT 06811-4629 On Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.

My husband and I met your husband only once at a party at Elaine and Ludwig's this past summer. We had a wonderful conversation, a truly remarkable man. Words cannot express my sorrow for your unexpected loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God help you find peace. Sandra and Brian Applebee

I am very saddened by the news of Alberto's passing. I will always cherish the short time that I spent with Beto and his family in Tequisquiapan, Mexico. I will always remember Beto as a sweet, fun-loving, curious and generous man. My only regret is that I did not have the opportunity to get to know him better.
