Anne Calbo Obituary

Anne Calbo of Pat-terson, N.Y., died Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Carmel, N.Y. after a long illness. She was 75. Mrs. Calbo was born Aug. 21, 1935 in New York, N.Y., daughter of the late Pasquale and Dominica (Caravella) Piscitelli. She graduated from Walton H.S. in Bronx, N.Y. in 1952 then married John N. Calbo at Immaculate Conception Church on Gun Hill Rd. in the Bronx. Mrs. Calbo moved to Patterson in 1968 and became a member of Sacred Heart Church and worked for M & T Bank in Brewster for fifteen years before retiring in 1999. Besides her husband, John of Patterson, Mrs. Calbo is survived by her two daughters, Theresa Herrington and her fianc�e, Terry Magann of Danbury, and Patricia Colucci and her husband, Buddy of Patterson, N.Y.; two brothers, Frank and his wife, Esther Piscitelli of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Vincent and his wife, Madeline Piscitelli of Ardsley, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Matthew, Corey and Kyle; and three great-grandchildren, Brianna, Johnathan and Jackson A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 9, 2010, 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, NY. Interment following in St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery in Brewster, N.Y.. Friends may call in Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Calbo's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
