Carmella Imundi Obituary

Carmella J. Imundi, lovingly known as "Mel," previously of Reynolds Ridge, Bethel, died peacefully at Pope John Paul II Center for Healthcare on Thursday, September 9th at the age of 70. She was born in Port Chester, N.Y. on August 5, 1940, daughter of the late Alphonse and Anna (Franco) Imundi. Mel was a member of the Danbury Senior Center, where she enjoyed ceramics and singing at area nursing homes. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Theresa Ballantoni and her husband, Charles of Bethel; and her twin sister, Clementina "Tina" Imundi; her nephews, Charles and his wife, Michelle, and Michael Ballantoni; her grandnephew, Christopher, and grandniece, Julianna. Funeral services will be held in the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, September 16th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Port Chester, NY.
