Carolyn Sue Valenti
Carolyn Sue Valenti, 77, passed away on Wednesday, Februay 14, 2018 at Embrace Hospice House, to join her sweetheart of 55 years, Peter J. Valenti.
Carolyn was born November 15, 1940 in Port Chester, NY the daughter of the late Roger and Ruth Losee Merritt. She was also preceded by two sisters, Alice Birdsell, and Marilyn Spinosa.
Carolyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a member of the Waccamaw Bowling League.
Survivors include: four sons; Philip Valenti and wife, Susan of Wakefield, NH, Michael Valenti and wife, Karen of Bethel, CT, William Valenti and wife, Constance of Colorado Springs, CO, and Steven Valenti and wife, Heather of Conway, SC; one brother, Roger Merritt and wife, Lisa of Ocala, FL; two sisters, LaVerne Barney and husband, John of Mamaroneck, NY, and Joan Merritt of Port Chester, NY; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
