Erminnie Lorah Obituary

Erminnie "Minnie' J. Lorah, age 80 of Danbury, passed away at Bethel Health Care on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She was born March 25, 1930 in Norwalk, daughter of the late William A. and Edith Souppa. Minnie was employed as a Health Care Aide by Med Center Home Health Care retiring in 1992. Minnie loved Bingo and bus trips to the casino and Nascar Races. She is survived by her sons, Robert Tenbrink and his wife, Kathy of Naugatuck, Arthur Tenbrink, also of Naugatuck, her twin children, son, Joseph Tenbrink and wife, Rose of Beacon Falls and daughter, Joann McDermott and husband, David of Danbury; brothers, William Souppa of Arlington, Vt. Robert Souppa of Greenbush, Maine; sister, Ginger Wright of New Smyrna, Fla.; 16 grandchildren 19 great -grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her caretaker of 14 years, Carrie Anderson. She was predeceased by her sister, llene Mickey Shipul. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving and professional care that Bethel Health Care and Danbury Hospital gave to her. A memorial gathering will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter Church on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
