Felice Bennett-Lundy, 70 of Sandy Hook, died January 29, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 30, 1940, in Bronx, New York, the daughter of the Lida and Andrew Perner. She is survived by her daughters, Tiffanie Bennett of Newtown, Tara Kortze and her husband John, of Sandy Hook, two granddaughters, Cassidy and Keeley Kortze of Sandy Hook, and her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Brian Bennett of Southbury. Mrs. Lundy spent her early years in Hollywood, CA then moved to New York, NY to start her family. In 1970 she moved to Florida where she resided in St. Petersburg and more recently in Largo, Florida working in the Accounts Payable department at Sun Paints and Coatings before moving to Connecticut in 2006 to spend more time with her children and grandchildren. An active member of the Newtown Newcomers and Neighbors Club, she enthusiastically provided restaurant reviews to members. Mrs. Lundy also enjoyed crafting with her grandchildren, playing bridge and being with her friends. She will be remembered for her love of "Tweety". A memorial gathering will take place at The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Friday, February 4, from 4 to 7 pm.
