Frank Romeo Obituary

Frank P. Romeo, 82, of Bethel, died peacefully at Bethel Healthcare Center on Sunday, December 5th, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Danbury on June 6, 1928, son of the late Angelo and Mary (Larenna) Romeo. Frank was a Veteran of World War II, proudly serving with the United States Army. He retired from the Redding School System where he worked as a custodian. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Antoinette "Toni" Pinkos of Bethel; his five nephews, Paul Palanzo and his wife, Sharon, Dominic Palanzo and his wife, Regina, Roger Palanzo and his wife, Cindy, Joseph Pinkos, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl, and Anthony Romeo; his four nieces, Mary Cronin and her husband, Richard, Diane Abrams and her husband, Paul, Donna Moran, and Carole Ann Ogas. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, as well as great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Victor and Anthony Romeo; and his sister, Michelina "MeMa" Palanzo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 9th at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday morning between the hours of 9:00 and 10:30am. Iwill always remember Uncle Frank favorite qoutes " hello helllo helloo good bye goodbye gooodbye" Sundaa ugahaa boraconn" Me Tarzan You jane you boy"
Uncle well always be remembered for allthe fun thing we all did like the time uncle took me Jon and Tom fishing and he broke the poles and ended uo just the fishhing line. I will also the time he set he shoes on fire while we were hanning sheet rock . And Also for his good cooking.
he well be greatly and sadly missed by Me ,Debbie, Bo and Drew.
