Josephine Pimpinello Obituary

Josephine Belchick Pimpinello age 80 of Newtown, the beloved wife of 49 years of the late James Pimpinello passed away peacefully on Monday October 18, 2010 in her home with her devoted children by her side. Josephine was born on March 7, 1930 in Benton Township, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Joseph Belchick. She dedicated her life with much love and generosity to all her family and friends and was the first living kidney donor to her daughter Jamie in 1968 and worked at the Dupont Sorval Company in their purchasing department for several years. Josephine is survived by one son, James Pimpinello Jr. and his wife Beth of Southbury, one daughter, Paulette Cavanaugh and her husband Bill of Newtown, her mother, Pauline Belchick of Fairfield, one brother, Gene Belchick and his wife Carol of Bpt., six grandchildren, Erin Holland and husband Matt, Shaun and Brendan Cavanaugh, Jamie Cavanaugh and fiance' Barry Shroeder, Jason and Rachel Hesse, one great grandson, Patrick Holland, aunt, Arlene Sidlovsky, brothers -in-law and sisters-in-law, Alfred Pimpinella, Edith and Nick Pusta, Rose Pimpinelli, Millie Wells and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her daughter Jamie. A Memorial service will be held on Friday October 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church 1734 Huntington Tpk. Trumbull officiated by the Rev. Ellen Kennedy. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street Stratford, has been entrusted with arrangements.
