Kevin T. Griffin

Kevin T. Griffin, age 60 of Conroe, Texas, peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2010, at the Conroe Medical Center in Conroe, Texas. He was the beloved companion of Roseanne Baldwin of Texas. Mr. Griffin was born in Bridgeport on March 19, 1950, loving son of Helen Honiker Frissora of Ansonia and the late John Griffin Sr. He was a resident of Monroe and Newtown before moving to Texas three years ago. Kevin was employed as a floor sander in the hardwood flooring business and especially loved his family. In addition to his mom, Helen and companion, Roseann, he is survived by two daughters, Meredith (Simon) Tuozzoli of Seymour and Kerri (Douglas) Russell of New Milford; three brothers, John M. (Martha) Griffin Jr. of Esperance, N.Y., Scott R. Griffin of Lakeland, Fla., and Mark A. (Cathy) Griffin of New London; a sister, Jill E. (Henry) Hoyle of Griswold; four grandchildren, Griffin Mercier, Joseph Russell, Thor and Olive Tuozzoli; his stepfather, Salvatore Frissora of Ansonia; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Kevin's life on Wednesday October 6, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Visiting hours will also be held on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the service begins. On Thursday, October 7, 2010, inurnment will be held at 11 a.m. in Monroe Center Cemetery in Monroe.
