Mrs. Szepsy was so awesome! Even though it's been almost 30 years since I've seen her I can still picture that warm smile and those beautiful bright eyes! She was as loving as they come but could be a tough cookie when she needed to be. I can remember her saying "Girls, when you're out back by the pond be careful. I just killed one of those big black water snakes that was over four feet long!" I looked at her and said "You killed a WHAT that was HOW long?" She just smiled and repeated it, acting like it was no big deal. We had this conversation all while she was tending to the absolutely beautiful roses she grew with such gentle TLC. The memories I have of her still make me smile! I know you all will miss her terribly, but I hope you find some comfort knowing others will always remember her fondly and with love.
