Mary Pascento Obituary

All good things must come to an end Mary Louise (Trentadue) Pascento, 90 years young passed peacefully from this life in her home on Nov 24, 2010 surrounded by family and friends. Mary was bom in the Bronx NY on April 7, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Carmella (Grande) Trentadue. Mary was educated in NY schools and attended Walton HS. In 1945 she married Joseph Pascento Sr., a kind and generous man, they resided in the Bronx before moving to NF in 1986, they were happily married for 47 years before he passed away in 1992. Mary's life was centered around her family, she was a devoted Mother, avid reader, fastidious housekeeper and an excellent cook. She was especially attentive and gentle to little children and they all knew where she kept her endless stash ofM&M's which she happily shared to sweeten their days. Mary is survived by her two sons Joseph Pascento Jr. and wife Rose Marie (Sudano) from NF, CT and Gregory Pascento and his wife Tina (Badolato) from NYC. She was a loving Grandmother to Joseph Pascento III and his wife Tammy ( Potenziani) of New Milford and Michael Pascento and his wife Betsy (Sarracco) of New Milford. For the passed 10 years she has been G.G. (great-grandmother) to her precious Michael, Victoria, Maggie and Christina Pascento all of New Milford. She was very active in their daily lives and attributed this to her longevity. Mary was predeceased by her three beloved older sisters, Angela (Trentadue) Apostolico. Rose (Trentadue) Napolitano and Theresa (Trentadue) Cassione. Mary is survived by many loving sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, she loved and cherished them all unconditionally. Green Funeral Home, Danbury, CT is in charge of arrangements, family and friends will be received at a Memorial Service held at St Peters Mausoleum, Lake Ave Ext. Danbury, CT at 11 AM on, Thursday December 2, 2010 .followed by a reception to celebrate Mary's life at Anthony's Lake Place, Danbury, CT. In lieu of flowers Mary requested that you gather your family around your table, have a nice dinner and simply enjoy each others company. The Pascento Family would like to acknowledge the wonderful support of the Regional Hospice of Western CT With their help Mary's last days were filled with understanding, grace and dignity . Everything changes, but love endures, love is everlasting.

Mr. Pascento II, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom; Mary Louise Pascento. God Rest her soul. Also prayers go out for Mrs.Pascento Sr, Joe Pascento III, Mike Pascento, as well as all their family members. May you all find peace in this difficult time.
