Ten years later, I still will never forget Nicholas. When he died I recalled him as o toddler in my nursery school class-his sweet personality and his courageous spirit. As I remember him now I think about seeing him many years after nursery school in a supermarket. He was with his dad and it took me a few minutes to figure out it was Nick. He looked strong, healthy and very handsome, grown up and happy.
Today I recall the sadness when I learned he had died as well as recalling now how many times I have found myself thinking of him since then. I will never forget him; he will continue to live on and no doubt be part of my sweet memories forever. Blessings to his family and all who have loved him.

I can still remember holding Nick in my arms as a newborn, right out of the hospital. The sweet temperament he had even then seems to have endured through the many years of struggle and treatments. May God bless Nick, and you and the rest of the children.

Dearest Peter & Maria-- I can still remember, my sister Christine & Paula babysitting Nick and his siblings.I would tag along with them. Nicholas , always had that beautiful smile, and was one of a kind.

Dear Peter, Maria and your family,
Nick was a 3 year old joy in my Prince of Peace Nursery School class when he was first diagnosed. I recall him so little and so brave and smiling that sweet little smile. I am profoundly sorry that he has passed, while I know the battle was long and hard. His determination and strength gave him some bonus time with you, but it is never long enough I know.
