Dahl II, Norman F..
Norman Frederick Dahl II died peacefully on March 2, 2014. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on May 19, 1932 but spent his childhood in Bayridge, Brooklyn. He graduated with a business degree from Hofstra University and earned his MBA at Columbia University. A proud Marine, Norman served our country in the Korean War and upon his return, he married the love of his life Charlene. Together, they built a wonderful life in Bronxville, New York and lovingly raised two sons. Norman was an advertising executive in Manhattan, an avid reader, a gun collector and he loved traveling with his wife. Norman and his family shared many wonderful years at their summer house in Candlewood Knolls where they made lifelong friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, Norman Frederick Dahl I & Adelaide Dahl, his wife Charlene and brother-in-law George Minervini. He is survived by two sons, Norman Frederick III & wife Janet of Branford, CT and Christian Charles & wife Kristine of New Fairfield, CT, his grandson Wyatt, granddaughter Sydney, sister-in-law Marie Minervini of Miami, FL & niece Lucia Minervini of New York.

Family & friends may pay their respects on Saturday, March 8 at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street Danbury from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The service will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial immediately following in the Mountainview Cemetery, New Fairfield.
