Prakash always said 'Hello" when you passed him in the hallways. He was by all definitions a "gentle man" - kind, considerate and friendly. His smiling face will be sadly missed.
My sincere condolences to his family for a very shocking loss.

I will miss Prakash very much. As everyone agrees, he was a great person, co-worker, friend & family guy. I was probably the last person at DRS to say good night to him last Friday. I'll always remember hearing him comment "Good Night Brother" as he walked past my office door at the end of the day. Rest-In-Pease my brother Prakash. It was a pleasure to know and work with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Prakash at DRS for a little more than a year before my leaving this past February. Prakash was a great person, with a wonderful sense of humor. He took tremendous pride in his work. He will be missed dearly in the Detector area, as he was more than just a co-worker. Prakash was our friend. From Laura Velez

This weekend our team had a very unexpected and major loss with the passing of Prakash Patel.

Prakash was the Lead Technician and the 'go-to'guy for our detectors products - he personified the ideal of being a Master Craftsman. He worked with us for 25 years and will be remembered for his level of skill, dedication, incredible work ethic and commitment to the detectors team & our business.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Kailash; his daughter Darshana, her husband and their son; his son Neal, and the rest of the Patel family at this time of mourning.

Prakash was extremely proud of the work that we do for our country, his son's service in the military and his family.

He will be missed by many people.

With our deepest respect for a fine man.

Your friends and co-workers at DRS Consolidated Controls
