Simon Abdallah Obituary

Simon Abdallah, age 81 of Ridgefield, father and father-in-law of David M. and Julie Abdallah, died on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at his home. He was the husband of the late Helen (King) Abdallah. Mr. Abdallah was born in Pottsville, Pa., December 18, 1928, son of the late Joseph and Mary Abdallah. A resident of Ridgefield for the past five years coming from Detroit, Mr. Abdallah was a retired plumbing contractor. He was a United State Marine Corps. veteran and a member of St. Mary's Church, Ridge-field. In addition to his son and daughter-in-law of Ridgefield, he also survived by an additional son, Raymond Abdallah of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Thomas "Libby" Abdallah of Ocean City, N.J.; and two grandchildren, Sam and Katie Abdallah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Ridgefield. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
