Stephen P. Gall 87, of Bethel, died peacefully June 29th at Danbury Hospital surrounded by his family. Stephen moved his family from Toledo, Ohio in 1956 to Connecticut to pursue his career in die casting. He retired as general manager of Peasley Products in Stratford, CT and was president of the New England Chapter of Die Casters. Stephen served as a Little League coach, was an avid bowler and a huge fan of Notre Dame football, the NY Yankees, and UCONN girls basketball. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Vilma, his sister Jean Vamos of Columbus, OH and his children: son Tom and wife Jan of Southbury, son John and wife Cathy of Bethel, daughter Donna Moran and husband John of Danbury, daughter Nancy Ferguson and husband Bill of Tucson, AZ and son David of Bethel; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Judith Pompos of Temperance, MI. Special thanks to Dr. Smith and the nurses and aides on 9 East Danbury Hospital for their special care of Dad. A memorial Mass will be held Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 46 Stone St. in Danbury. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
