Perler, Loretta
Loretta (Greenberg) Perler, 88, of New Fairfield, wife of the late Irving C. Perler, died on Monday, August 4, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Perler was born in New York, New York, November 30, 1925 and attended New York schools.
She was a retired self employed watchmaker. A resident of Putnam Lake and New Fairfield since 1950, for the first twenty nine years was a summer resident of the area and became a permanent resident in 1979. Mrs. Perler was a former member of the Putnam Lake Community Council. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie J. Perler of New Fairfield; two sons, Marvyn Perler of Brookfield, CT and Russell Perler of Hope, Idaho and four grandchildren. Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 2 PM in Sharon Gardens, Valhalla, NY with Cantor Penny Kessler of the United Jewish Center of Danbury officiating. There will be no calling hours. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
