Noella Grenier Obituary
Noella (Marquis) Grenier, 66, of Danbury died Wednesday, August 29th at Danbury Hospital. She was born December 25, 1945 in Saint-Gédéon, Québec Canada, daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Obeline (Quirion) Marquis. Noella worked as a sales associate at Sears in Danbury for 16 years. She was a proud member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 314 for more than 25 years. Noella enjoyed playing on the computer, crossword puzzles, collecting angels, snow globes and souvenir spoons. Her greatest treasure was her love for her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her and her beautiful French Canadian accent will forever be heard in our hearts. Noella is survived by her two sons, Tommy Grenier and his wife Renee of Fairfield and Jonathan Grenier and his wife Lisa of New Milford; her daughter, Sandra Grenier-McKee and her husband Jim of Danbury; four grandchildren, Devin, Connor, Ryan and Alexis Grenier; seven brothers, Adelbert, Exsimer, Origène, Adonia, Henri-Paule, Jean-Guy and Laurian; two sisters, Carmen and Armande"Mimi" as well as many nieces and nephews. Noella is predeceased by her husband Jean-Noël Grenier, her brother, Camille and her sister Laurette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 5th at St. Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Rd., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives between the hours of 4 PM and 8 PM on Tuesday, September 4th at Cornell Memorial Home,247 White St., Danbury. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
