Marjorie Triacca Friedman, 95, of Danbury, passed away at Danbury Hospital on September 14, 2012. She was the wife of the late John Friedman and also predeceased by her first husband of 45 years, Joseph Triacca. Marjorie was born June 25, 1917 in Wingdale, New York, daughter of the late Elmer and Marcella (LaBraque) Woodin. She was employed by Capitol Machine Shop in Danbury for 32 years. Marjorie was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church of Danbury and spent the last several years at Hancock Hall in Danbury until her recent stay at Danbury Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Marjorie Chauvin and her husband, George Chauvin, a son, Joseph Triacca and his wife Rose; grandchildren Diane Piskura Schlosser, Carla Chauvin, George Chauvin, Jr. and his wife Susan, Todd Piskura and his wife Joanne, Lisa Chauvin Fernandez, Alan Triacca, James Triacca, Lynne Fossum and her husband Anthony and 14 great grandchildren 2 great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by grandson, Richard Piskura, six sisters and one brother. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 5:30pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury with the Rev. Karen Karpow, Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Danbury officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury at the convenience of the family.Contributions in Marjorie's memory may be made to the Danbury United Methodist Church of Danbury, 5 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, CT 06811
