Noack, Dorothy
Dorothy R. (Battista) Noack, 73, of Danbury and loving wife of 45 years to Carl Noack, died on Tuesday, October 2nd at Danbury Hospital. She was born on June 30, 1939 in Danbury, daughter of the late Dominic and Emily (Hanna) Battista. Dorothy worked in Danbury in the banking industry as a Trust Officer for 42 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Dorothy enjoyed camping in her R.V. with her husband and son, where together they saw the lower 48 states. She was an avid reader, loved her animals, liked to bowl and was a diehard NY Rangers fan. In addition to her husband Carl, Dorothy will be missed by her son, Christopher J. Noack and his wife Kristine of New Fairfield; her grandchildren, Carson and Claire Noack; her sister, Judith Matson and her husband Walter of Danbury; three nephews as well as several grand nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 9th at St. Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Ave., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends between the hours of 4 and 6 PM on Monday, October 8th at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
