Figliola, Patsy
Patsy J. Figliola, 83, died February 18, 2013. He was born on July 28, 1929 in Cos Cob Connecticut to Patsy and Philomena (Morano) Figliola. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Anne (Maltese) Figliola and his four children Patrick (Gail) Figliola, Alicia (Christopher) Rendell, Christina Babecki and Peter (Laurie) Figliola. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving him are his sisters Eleanor Ioli, Nellie Ferraris and Florence DiVasto. Throughout his life he was an avid hunter, gardener and was a skilled woodworker, taking great pride in making toys for his grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of The Ridgefield Men's Club, The Italian American Mutual Aid Society and The American Legion, and also participated in several other church and community related activities. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday February 23rd at 11am at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Churchill Rd., Newtown Connecticut. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield.
