Macil Virginia (Davis) Haines Obituary
ANTIOCH, W.Va. - Macil Virginia (Davis) Blacka Haines, 59, of Antioch, W.Va., died Monday, April 14, 2014, at her residence.
Born on March 31, 1955, at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Kenny and Julia Pearl (Cox) Davis. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Macil Ella Blacka; and six brothers, Parent, Fred, Sam, Davis and Rev. Joil "Dude" Davis and James Melvin Baker.
Surviving are her husband of 11 years, Donald A. Haines; four daughters, Melissa Dawn Blacka of Kingwood, W.Va., Donna Faith Blacka of Petersburg, W.Va., Mary Charity Blacka of Antioch and Maggie Hope Blacka-Koch and Matt of Antioch; a stepdaughter, Peggy Sue Braithwaite of Romney, W.Va.; a son, Michael Wayne Blacka Sr. of Burlington, W.Va.,  and many other "adopted" children she helped to raise;  a half sister, Delores See, Centreville, Va.; her favorite sister-in-law, Mary Middlebrook Heinemann of Richmond, Va.;  12 grandchildren, Shoan Wayne Gordon Jr., Sara Ruth Roy, Donald James William Blacka, Kenny Ray Davis, Thomas Sensoney Blacka, Dylan Allen Roy, Alyssa Dawn Roy, Lee Dewey Davis, Junior Allen Roy, Joil Erasthum Davis, Noah James Davis and Virginia Ann Davis-Gordon. Also surviving are five step grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; and best friends, Shoan Wayne Gordon Sr., Mabel Griggs, George E. Gordon, James Wratchford, Stacey Lynn Roy, Darrell Roy and Joe Bland.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gwen Wolford officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the family in care of either Mary or Maggie Blacka, P.O. Box 70, New Creek, WV 26743.
