KEYSER – Paul T. Suter, 54, of Keyser passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, Md.
Born May 19, 1959, in Keyser, he was a son of the late Robert L. "Monk" Suter Sr. and Eileen A. (Delaney) Suter.
Paul was a 1977 graduate of Keyser High School and was retired from New Page. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, charter member of North Branch Lions Club, Loyal Order of Moose #662 and Son of VFW Post 6775, Queen's Point, McCoole, Md.
Surviving are his two children, Desiree Suter and Eli Suter; his siblings, Regina Hahn of Aiken, S.C., Robert L. "Jack" Suter Jr. and wife Ruby of Keyser, Elizabeth Ann Davies and husband Hal of Charleroi, Pa., James E. Suter and fiancée Nancy Eden of Blacksburg, Va., Sonja Morrissey and husband Bud of Cumberland, Md., David Suter and wife Susie of Keyser and John Suter and wife Abby of Oakridge, Tenn. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Kim Suter, of Keyser, former in-laws Frank and Flo Welch of Keyser, sister-in-law Stacey Miller of Short Gap and numerous extended family members.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Grace United Methodist Church, 30 S. Mineral St.,, Keyser, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, with the Rev. James A. McCune officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
