Howard "Mike" Haines
Howard "Mike" Haines of Waynesboro went to be with his Lord, very suddenly, at Reva, Virginia, on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, his 51st birthday.
He was born November 3, 1959, in Washington, D.C., the son of Ralph and Betty Fitzgerald Haines of Waynesboro.
Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ashby and Gertie Haines; and his maternal grandparents, Theodore and Bertha Fitzgerald.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Sherrie English and her husband, Joe, of Manassas; two brothers, William "Bill" Haines and Mark "Welby" Haines and his wife, Sharon, all of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010, at the chapel of the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 961 Goose Creek Road, Fishersville conducted by Pastor Danny Campbell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Central and Western Virginia Chapter, 2040 Deyerle Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
