John H. Lowe

John H. "Johnny" Lowe Jr. Johnny H. Lowe Jr., 62, of Fishersville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2013, peacefully at his home. He was born April 4, 1951, in Augusta County, Va., to John H. Lowe, Sr. and Mary Frances Patterson Lowe. He was an avid truck driver for more than 30 years and a hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, John Herbert Lowe Sr.; niece, Robin Painter; nephew, Jeffrey Painter; and a brother-in-law, Eddie Painter. He is survived by his beloved wife of many years, Rena Cook; mother, Mary Francis Lowe; sisters, Charlotte Painter, Jackie Bingler and Debbie Mize; nephew, David Mize; a cousin, Dustin Painter; and a good friend, Zane Mize. He also leaves to cherish his memory many loving family members, friends and his best friend and companion, "Bandit". The family will have a gathering of remembrance from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 961 Goose Creek Road, Fishersville, VA 22939.
