Mary Lou Davis

Mary Lou Davis, 48, of Waynesboro, was called to rest on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born on October 7, 1961, in Staunton, Virginia, to the late Robert Sr. and Genniebea (McCauley) Davis.

She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert Jr."Ghost", Danny, and Tyrone Davis; material grandmother, Helen V. (Curry) McCauley "Granny".

Mary Lou is survived by six sisters, Rosetta Richardson and her husband, Ronnie, Jeniful Davis and her fiance, Joe Pettus, Shelva Wallace and her husband, Carella, Teresa Davis, Koretta Jones and her husband, Darrell, Barbara Alexander and her husband, Frank, all of Waynesboro, Virginia; two brothers, Roger Davis of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Tony Davis of Waynesboro, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and other friends.

A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2010, at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro, Virginia.

There is no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to McCutcheon's Funeral Home at 267 Port Republic Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

The family will receive friends anytime at the residence.
