Pameral Lynn "Pam" Baber Cash

Pameral Lynn "Pam" Baber Cash, 49, of Waynesboro, wife of Glenn E. Cash, and daughter of Melvin Ray "Pete" and Betty Critzer Baber, passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 10, 2010, at Augusta Health, from complications from diabetes.

She was born on October 8, 1961, in Waynesboro, and celebrated her 49th birthday last Friday.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a brother, Michael T. Baber and his wife, Susan, of Waynesboro; two special nieces, Rachel and Erin Baber; a stepson, Ricky Cash of Fishersville; two step-granddaughters whom she helped raise, Laura Lynn Cash and Crystal McKay Cash Tanner and her husband, Derek. She was not only their "Nana" but also a mother to them.

Also surviving are a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family from both the Cash and Baber/Critzer family, as well as her ECR family and Davita family and all the staff at the University of Virginia Medical Center and Augusta Health.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her mother and father -in-law.

Pam was a special person who never met a stranger. She will be sorely missed by her loved ones, family and friends.

Also surviving are her special companions, Fluffy, Grayboy, Little Cotton, Rudy, Midnight, Minnie, Mickey. Special thanks to Dr. Theresa Miller and especially Jenetta, at Shenandoah Internal Medicine.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, with Pastor Randy Blankenship officiating. A private burial will be held later.

Active pallbearers will be Kent Hite, Dr. Bruce Bowman, Tommy Cash, Rodger Cash, Doug Colvin and Ricky Cash.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A., 33 Archery Lane, Staunton, VA 24401 or the Preston L. Yancey Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 177, Fishersville, VA 22939.
