Donald Vaughn Wilson

Wilson, 60 DOVER - Donald Vaughn Wilson passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Donald was born in Milford the son of the late Donald R. and Mary Ann (Hickman) Wilson. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he received many service medals including a Vietnam Gallantry Cross and Sharpshooter Badge. Most recently he was full-time seasonal lead at Kmart in Dover. He did carpentry and painting but also loved to tinker with anything electronic and could fix almost anything. He is survived by a daughter, Andrea N. Jones and her husband Chris; and two children, of Blades, Del.; a brother, Michael A. Wilson, Sr. of Harrington; and a sister, Heidi Wilson Watkins and her husband Bobby, and their two children, of Harrington. Memorial services arranged by McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Harrington. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Highway, Harrington. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Farmington Fire Hall after the burial service.
