Sigmund Franklin Kendzierski

Kendzierski, 93 MILFORD -Sigmund Franklin Kendzierski, of Milford, died Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2013 at the Delaware Veterans Home, Milford, Del. Mr. Kendzierski was born in Camden, N.J. the son of the late Louis and Waleria Kendzierski. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II helping the Allied Army liberate concentration camps throughout the European Theatre. He owned and operated Milford Salvage Yard for over 60 years. He was a member of the Milford V.F.W. Blue Hen Post 6483, the Milford American Legion Post # 3, the Milford Elks Lodge # 2401, the Milford Kiwanis and St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking, especially refinishing antiques. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, of 53 years Anna Helena Kendzierski. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Kendzierski and his wife Mary, of New Mexico, Kathleen Kendzierski Ravis and her husband James, of Dover, Gerald Kendzierski, of Alabama, Ang Kendzierski Hansen and her husband Rick, of Milford, and Keith Kendzierski and his wife Renee, of Milford; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford.
